Who are we?

Wynning Studios was founded in 2023 as a student group of game developers, designers and artists at Swinburne University of Technology. After successfully having been grouped together in a rapid prototyping class to develop a 2D roguelike with complex mechanics in just five weeks, we quickly recognised our unique strengths as a team.

We believe in putting all effort we can to create games we would want to play. We are constantly learning new ways to improve our skills and our games.

Bringing players together and building community with fun experiences

We create our games to build positive experiences for our players, and we believe it starts with us creating strong community with each other and listening to our players feedback.

Keeping our games human and authentic by never using generative AI

Our team refuses to use generative AI for any part of our projects as we believe it takes away from authenticity and the fun and whimsy of art and game creation.

Our team is diverse in background and talent, having a dynamic blend of highly technical and creative skill-sets. We are based in Melbourne. Currently, our team is working in a remote setup.

Always chasing the perfect mix of chaos and fun. Lover of all things indie, strategy, and over-complicated card games.

Probably going insane working on some silly bug. Favourite games are the Splatoon and Pokemon series.
